Westfield Stratford City opend its doors in latre 2011 - Europe's largest retail centre, anchored by John Lewis and Marks and Spencer, in a striking three-level, curved mall. In Stratford town centre and the Stratford Centre mall, a wide choice of easy to reach shops, market stalls, bars and cafes offer an eclectic mix of goods and services at excellent value for money.
After a hard day's shopping, you can relax in the arthouse Picturehouse cinema, shoot some bowls at the 14 lane All Star Lanes bowling alley, play the tables in the 24 hour Aspers Casino, or take in a dance performance or a play at the contemporary arts venue Stratford Circus, or a show at the historic Theatre Royal.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is now fully open. In this beautiful 226 acre green space, visitors can meander in the meadows and stroll along the waterways, watching for wildlife among the reeds. Some of the spectacular sporting facilities where the world’s finest competitors raised the roof are now yours to enjoy.
